iceribbon: THANK YOU EMI!!! Today (Saturday January 07, 2012) saw Emi Sakura wrestle her final match for Ice Ribbon Girls Pro Wrestling in Sendai versus Tsukushi. Emi Sakura, was not only the founder of Ice Ribbon back in 2006, she was also the ‘Matron of Ice Ribbon’ and had a hand in training the majority of the current Ice Ribbon roster including ICEx60 champion Hikaru Shida, Tsukasa Fujimoto, Riho, Hikari Minami and Tsukushi. In Ice Ribbon, Sakura held the ICEx60 title twice and co-hold the International Ribbon tag team titles on no less than five occasions. Emi, who began her career for IWA Japan in August 1996, also competed for All Japan Women, LLPW, FMW, DDT and JWP amongst other promotions. We’d like to thank Emi Sakura for all that she has done for Ice Ribbon Girls Pro Wrestling and wish her the very best for whatever she does in the future. DOMO ARIGATO EMI!!! View Larger
